Replace a delegate?

my boss has had several assistants who have scheduled re-occurring meetings
on her behalf… if I go on Boss' calendar and modify a meeting that was set
up by her previous assistant it wont let me. It tells me I do not have
permission. Is there a way to re-assign the old employee’s “on behalf ofâ€
meetings to the new employee? This issue is happening repeatedly and I would
really like to find a fix, other than rescheduling the meeting with all
participants involved.
