replace soft line breaks with hard (manual) breaks

Greetings Word groupies
I desire to
find
the soft line breaks that WORD automatically inserts into a document
and then
replace
them with hard or (manual line breaks)

I cannot discover how to "find" these soft breaks.

Try double-clicking the line break to selecct it. Then copy and paste
it into the "Find What:" field in the "Replace" dialog box. You'll get
something like "^|" and then in the "Replace with:" enter the desired
replacement text or character code.
