Replace Timeline Interval Dates with Duration (# of Days)

Hello,
I have a bracket interval on a timeline and would like to replace the
date range the text shape shows (based on the IntervalBegin and
IntervalEnd dates) with a duration. For example, if the interval
shows
6.9.08-6.14.08, I would the text shape to show "5 days" instead of
the
dates. Is that possible? If so, how can I make it work?

In addition, is it possible to delete a custom formula in the field
dialog box?

unfortunately those fields are hard-coded into the shape (it's a group shape
with separate text shapes in it). To get what you want you would need to
reengineer the shape.
