Replace Two CRs with One..

Bright Spark

I'm finding with the Find and Replace feature that it seems to only
work with text and not with things like carrier returns, tabs, etc.

I have a very long csv mailing list of 15,000 names which is
single-spaced except that about every 10-20 lines there is an extra
carrier return at the end of the line - i.e., two carrier returns
instead of one.

Instead of scrolling down through all these entries in order to remove
the extra CR, I would like to be able to just search and replace the 2
CRs for 1 CR, but I can't find how to do it. I would appreciate any
help you can give. I am very grateful for the help I receive in this
group - thank you all!
