We just upgraded to Office Excel 2003 from professional 97. Under the old
package I could highlight a range of cells and replace a charater(s) or sets
of number with another one. How can I do the same with new softwate - it
just replaces my whole formula when all I want is just specific items.

this should still work ('Edit - Repalce'). What options have you
specified in this dialog

Thanks. It worked fined after I closed the file and open it again. The
process performed exactly what I had done many times. Strange it did not
work fine the first time.
