replacing a resource

I need to replace the name of a departed staffer with the person
taking his place in the resource column. I am using the replace
resource feature on the resource allocation dialog box but this
doesn't work. The "replace" button is grayed out. I'm assuming that
the project does not have to be published for this to work.

Naomi,

When you are using the Replace button in the Assign Resources dialog, you
just need to select at least one task where the resource is assigned.
