Replacing Office 2003 with 2007

Hi

I'm about to install Office 2007. Do I need to uninstall Office 2003 first?
And what precautions do I need to take to ensure I don't lose data from
Outlook, Word etc?

I have backed up my pst file. If I open this in 2007 will all my contacts,
emails and calendar items still be there?

there is no specific requirement to uninstall the office 2003. But if you
wish so.

AND your data will be in place and outlook should recognise everything
correctly if you havent physically moved the pst.
