Reply or Forward clears inbox message

When a client replies or forwards a message from the inbox, Outlook 2000
clears that message from the inbox. It will keep a copy in Sent items.

What has been turned on to clear these messages. We cannot find anything.
(We didn't change anything to cause this either).

Change your View from Unread Messages to just Messages.

Nope. We have tried every setting possible.
And keep in mind this is only on messages that are Replied to or Forwarded.

That's exactly why I suggested making sure your View was set correctly.
Replying to or forwarding a message marks it as read and if your view
suppresses read messages, they'll "disappear" as you describe.

Since you say your view is "Messages", I have no other suggestions. Sorry.
