Reply or Forward emails in Outlook 2007 SP2

When a user replies or forwards an email, they *sometimes* are unable to
spell check the text they type. Not only that, but it changes formatting.

This happens regardless of the formatting (i.e., Rich Text or HTML).

I found that, sometimes, selecting the text she typed in and clearing
formatting worked, but not all the time.

Any ideas?
