Reply to all - omit your own email

Hi,

When I "Reply to All" is there a way to automatically omit myself w/out
having the delete it from the To: filed all the time?

Thank you.

Hi,

I forgot to add the scenario.

I have already sent out an email but need to add a note to the original
email, so I go into my 'SENT' Folder and 'REPLY ALL' to that emaill. This is
when they add my email to the To: field.

Thanks.

M.

How often does this happen? Seems like something that only happens every
once in a while. When you Reply To All in a Sent Message, it's doing exactly
what you're asking it to, Replying To Everyone.

Would recalling/resending the message be an option?

If Outlook can tell that one of the addresses is yours, it will not include
it in the reply. The address in the Reply must be different than what
Outlook has configured as your address.

He's replying-to-all from his Sent box, in which case Outlook includes the
sender in the TO field. He's replying-to-all to a message that HE sent. So
his email gets put into the TO field as he's one of the people he's replying
to.

I just tested it in Outlook 2007 and it does the same thing.

Correct. If you reply to a sent message, it includes you... but if you use
certain versions and have multiple email accts in the profile, outlook
forgets who you are too and will include you on a normal reply.
