Is there a way in using outlook 2002 sp1 and/or outlook 2003 that when you
reply to a message with an attachment that it includes the attachment. It
works if you reply and attach orginal message but that is ugly. I can not
seem to find any settings to include attachment in reply

Thanks

Darryl

Why would you want to? The original sender, to whom you are replying,
already HAS the attachment!

I know for one thing if the person is asking for doc to be reviewed the
person can make changes to doc and reply back to sender with the updates.
Also for the person whom is asking he is using it to keep the most current
email in a reply chain and keep the attachment as well.

if he replies to an email with an attachment the attachment is not sent but
if he has several emails going back and forth he only wants to keep the most
current which would not have the attachment.

Ah, that's not quite the same thing is it? It's now a different document. So
reply and attach the NEW document as normal. Presumably the reviewer saves
the amended document in a file other than the temporary files?

Don't quite follow you here.....

If you receive an email with an attachment and you modify it in outlook you
can save it back to outlook without having to reattach.

Maybe I can explain better.

I receive an email with an attachment I reply to sender I want attachment to
be in reply. Original sender replies back to me. Now I have two messages
original and reply. I don't need original because reply has original message
as well. But as it works today does not have the attachment. So I want to
keep the most current message with the original attachment.

I agree you probably don't want to be sending an attachment back and forth.
I just had a user ask em if it could be done. I couldn't find an easy to do
it without either forwarding the email back to sender or sending as an
attachment.

DO you know if there is a way it could be done ?
