Replying to emails issue

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

When I reply to an email my signature and cursor are at the bottom of the email instead of the top where you would normally begin to enter your reply.

In your Reply and Forward preferences, how is your Mail Attribution
preference set?

Ed. Thank you. I had it set at none and changed it to the other option, which helped put the cursor in the right place, but my signature still appears at the bottom of the original email...

Not really understanding how to do it. I followed the links, but still no sure. I'll give it another try...
