Replying to messages with image links

[PEACEMAKER]

ok so outlook2k3 does a good job of not download images when viewing email
messages, but why does it force you to download images when you attempt to
reply to them?

Because the method they use to disable external content doesn't work with
the method they use to render messages for printing and replying/forwarding.
A future version may block external content on replies, forwards, and print
outs.
