Report Exporting to Excel

Hello
I know you can export to excel and tables and reports but is there anyway in
which for example where I have a form that runs a report to have a button
that will send the results directly to excel and open them rather then having
to keep going to tools each time after the report is run??

Sorry I should add I have managed to get it to save and auto open the report
into excel using a macro, but for some reason if I have a combo on the form
that filters the results it doesnt register in the excel sheet, it just
brings up all the records not just the ones that are filtered with the
selection from the box
