Report for entered hours in timesheet

Hello everyone,

my apologies if this post is in the wrong group.

I am using Project Server 2003 and web access and wish to
create a report (DB query will also be fine) or similar that tells
me which user has entered which hours.
If I create a report in Project in the Resource Usage view I get as
combination
of the values that have been entered and those calculated by Project. I want
only the numbers that have been entered by the user.
Exporting the grid in the update history in the web based part
does not help as tasks appear more than once.

Thank you very much!

Not sure I understand what you mean when you say you get a combination of
value that have been entered and those calculated bu Project. But if you
limit the view to only show "Actual Hours" and not the "work" hours, you
should just get the hours entered by the users and not what is "calculated"
by Project. This assume you don't manually mark a task complete and only
use the hours entered by the users to determine the status of a task.

Hi Joe,

thanks a lot for answering. I will try to explain it better:

In Project (desktop app), Resource Usage screen all tasks per resource
are visible in the lable on the left. the first column displays an icon if
the developer (resource) has editied the task, meaning entered hours in
the web app.( tooltip text: This assignment work has been edited.)
Suppose a task with 30 hours work has been edited by the developer on
the first day (Monday) of the assignment by entering 6 hours I will see
this 6 hours on the right table in the column for Monday of the Resource
Usage screen. Tuesday, Wedneday, etc. will be filled by the number that MSP
calculates for the assignment as there are 24 hours work left for this
assignment.
This will be the normal working hours per day until the planned work
is done.

What I wish to see: Only the values the developer entered in the web app
without the values MSP is calculating.
