Resource Usage View Rolled Up

I need to have the Resource Usage View Rolled Up by Summary Task. Which in
turn would hide the resource tasks. I am ultimately need a report/view that
shows Project by Resource by Monthly Work Hours.

Is this possible?

Hi Kirsten,
Add the "Task Summary Name" field to the Resource Usage view.
Create a custom group to group by Task Summary Name Assignment
field, then by Name.

Does that get you close?

I have playing with creating a custome group with the Task Summary Name being
the first field and then by Name, but it's not grouping the Task Summary at
all. I am not sure what I am missing.

Kirsten,

Make sure in the group box you click the checkbox for "group
assignments not resources". In the Task Summary name field in
the group box, select "Assignment" for the field type.
