Hi agnesroz,

within Project Pro you can create so called "local cubes" or local reports
which are transfered into either Excel or Visio. this is great if you need to
update people on projects that do not have access to Project Server.
Furthermore to this the visual reports only consider this one projects.

Unlike Project Server. Within Project Server you can create consolidated
reports accross many projects ( the data analyser is a create analytical tool
for this) and you can also create standard reports using the Reporting
Database from Project Server.

I hope this made is clearer for you. Please let me know if you have further
questions.
Thanks
