Report - no. of columns

I am looking for a way to change the no of columns programmatically when I am
opening a report in preview mode. Any ideas?

There is a mult-column report demo at
http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4 which doesn't use
typical column layouts. You should be able to set the number of columns to
whatever you want.
