First problem, I go to query wizard select my crosstab query, which is based
on another Query using form controls, and in the fields section to choose
from it doesn't show any fields, Can't figure out why. I have all ready done
once on this same query, but I wanted to change some choices and play with
the layout to see the changes, plus I found some options for sums and totals
and %'s that I didn't use the first time. I thought this might be the answer
to my next question, but I can't make the report again using the wizard.
Second problem, in the report I want to be able to add up the columns for a
total for each column and at the right side is the row total, but I also
want to add row 1 total to row 2 total for a grand total, then Row 3 total
to row 2 grand total for Row 3 Grand total, and so and so on.
I tried to use a Textbox and bound it to another query which has the count
and totals and % calculated, but it didn't work because it said the crosstab
query tied to the report wasn't recognized by the jet engine. I delete the
statement I used to bind the textbox and it works fine, so I don't know what
to do to fix it. It is doing the same thing the crosstab query was doing
when I had to set the Parameters in Properties, but that is done and working
and the other query is not a crosstab query.
Can I even do what I am trying to do?
Thanks Blair
