Report on a Resources Remaining Availability

M

Mustang

Hi there,

I would like to be able to run a report which is very similar to the Who
Does What and When report except that I would like to replace the number of
hours of work with the number of hours remaining for that resource based on
that resources calendar.

Is this possible and if so how?

Many thanks

Hello Mustang,

If I understand your question correctly, yes you can. Select the
Who Does What When report and click the Edit button to show the
Crosstab report dialog. In the cross tab replace the "Work" field
with the Remaining Availability field. This will show the available
hours for a resource factoring in any current assignments as well as
his/her calendar definition and max. units.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie,
Is there a way to produce this very same report so that the data can be
copied into Excel? when I try to produce a visual report that shows the same
data, the availability and hours worked numbers are way off. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello Brendan,

I assume you are working wit Project 2007 based upon your comment
about Visual Reports. I am running Service Pack 2 if not already to
see if you can get better data from the Resource Work Availability
Report.

It appears to work fine. Can you be more specific about what is not
working?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
