Report Opens twice why ?

Hello I have a report that I open daily to update the stats. but lately
when I open the report a second copy of the report opens. Dailystats.xls:1
and another report Dailystats.xls:2 How do I correct this? thanks in
advance

Hi

You saved the file with a second window open.
Click the "x" at top of :2
Maximise :1
Save file

 

[Dave Peterson]

Select the window you don't want anymore.
hit ctrl-w to close it.
Save the workbook the way you like.
