Reporting a portfolio view

We presently use the consolidated project file gantt view for multiple
project summary. It is possible to create a similiar report using the
portfolio views and crystral report writer? Specifically, can you use the
graphics (aka Gantt view) in a third party report writer. Also, I'm kinda
new at this.
