Reporting cost through My Task

Hello Everyone.
Would someone give me a hand with the following:
I'm trying to capture cost incurred via the My Task option in PWA (PS2007).
I included in the My Assigment View the fields Cost1 and a Custom Field as
well.
I can enter values for them but those values do not get reflected in the
project, after publishing. Though ProjPro I can perfectly enter information
for these fields and publish without a problem.

I looked into the info available and do not find an answer for this behavoir
nor I find a confirmation that I can do this.

luis,

I've not been successfully able to update any fields other than work via the
"My Tasks" page. I'm guessing the code behind the page only process work
related data. Certainly Microsoft needs to either allow custom fields
updates through this page or remove the ability to add them into the views.

You're choices at the moment are:

1. Update all cost information directly through Project Pro
2. Develop a custom web page to replace the "My Tasks" page.
