Hi,
We are implementing Project 2007. Once a project is complete we want to
archive this project. My question is, How do we report/search archived
projects?
Thanks

Simple. Open up the file from the new location and report/search on it.

The answer is so simple, I'm not sure I understand the problem. What is
it that does not work when you open the archived file?

Rob,
Thanks for your response.

We have hundreds of archived projects. Each projects has enterprised fields
set so we know what type of work was performed.

The issue as I see it is, we caanot figure out how to group archive projects
so a person unfamiliar with theses project can go in and locate projects with
similar atributes.

We are able to do this in 2003 because they remain in our reports.

Hi vandermt,

Pardon me for bumping in. As you refer to "enterprise" fields, I assume you
are using Project Server. Please re-post your question to the Project Server
newsgroup. You're more likely to catch the eye of one of the server people
by posting there.

I hope this helps.

Is this a question better asked on microsoft.public.project.server?
