reporting progress for other resources

Is there a way for a resource to see their own tasks as well as the tasks of other resources they're responsible for in their timesheet in PWA? We work with a lot of outside contractors, who an internal resources manages. I'd like that internal resource to be able to report on their own progress as well as the progress of the outside contractors. I could have the internal resource log on as themselves, and then log out and back in as each outside resource -but that's obviously not the ideal solution

Ideally, I should be able to assign the outside resource to the internal one, and then the internal one should see all of the tasks and be able to report progress on all of them in PWA. Is there a way to do this?

In a situation such as this, I would set up separate user accounts in PWA
for each outside contractor and set their accounts to use Project Server
authentication. This way, the internal resource could log into PWA as the
outside contractor and enter actuals. Doing so will not permit access to
Risks, Issues, and Documents, however. Hope this helps.
