Hi all!
We have developed a set of Actual Work reports in Reporting Services that
work well about 99% of the time.
However, occasionally we have a plan, that for no reason we can uncover,
whose Actual Work hours will not appear in the report we developed. We run
about 50 plans concurrently, and the rest work fine. However, the PM will
have accepted the time (Actual Work hours in the plan) and the cube will have
run (we use the cube as the source of the hours), but the report will be full
of zeros.
The method we developed to address this is to Collaborate-Publish-All
Information, re-run the cube, shut down all IE browsers (as there seems to be
a caching element that misreports results), and then check again. This has
always resolved the problem, but it is a recurring nuisance and undermines
our credibility.
Anyone have similar experience? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
David
