Reports coming up blank

I recently had Access 2003 installed on my computer without my knowledge by
IT. We use a database that was created on Access 97 and I am encountering a
problem. I fixed one problem by the postings, but it seems no one is having
issues with their reports. When I go to run several of my reports, they come
up blank except for the dates. The reports are run off of two tables and have
subreports. I am not an expert in Access whatsoever and have no clue how to
correct the problem. Also, I am getting an ODBC error on some other reports
and cannot locate and answer on how to fix that. The error says "ODBC
connection to ..... failed. I think it is trying to contect to an HR database
that my company has, but I don't know how to make it not fail. Anyone with
suggestions?
