Reports don't print in color

Lugash

In Access 2000 we have a very simple report with labels
and titles in color. When we send the report to the
printer (HP 22000ix) it prints in black and white. In
print preview the colors are OK. Other programs such as
Excel can print in color.

If I create a new MDB file, create a new report with just
static text (using the same color as the broken report) it
prints fine. This same test fails within the production
MDB.

We have tried a compact and repair of the MDB and have
reinstalled the print drivers. No change.

We have only dial-up access, so trouble shooting is slow.

Any body have any ideas as to what is going on???

Thanks

Lugash,

I assume your report is using a specific printer (Page
Setup and Page Tab). Check the properties of the printer
and make sure it is not set to print in grey scale (or
black & white). Specific printer properties are stored
with the report.
