Reports not on sequence

Report out of sequence

I have an auto number report which form is working properly, but the report
shows the last 4 entries first then start at 1. I ran "compact and repair
data base" but did not work.

Please help. Thank you

You have to set the Sorting and Grouping options in the Report.

With the report in Design View click on View then Sorting and Grouping
no enter the fields by which you want to sort.
