Reports - Printer needs to be installed

Hi, why is it that when i try and produce a report, i get get a error saying
i need to have a printer connected to the computer?

The computer is connected to a printer via a network.

I am using office 2000.

can anybody help.

Do you mean "design" a report... or "print" a report.

Do you have a "default" printer designated in your ControlPanel/Printers
and Faxes? You may be connected to the network, but you'll still need to
define that printer on your system, and designate it as the "default".

If you can design a report in Access, your printer defs are probably OK.
If you can't print, then I would suspect the network.
