This is a repost of my earlier message. I received a
response from Raghu Prakash (thank you for responding!),
but I think he misunderstood the entire problem. He gave
a solution for a macro that may have been named using a
European character. However, I was trying to open one of
Word's built in templates, Legal Pleadings, not one that I
made/named.
When I go to "File...New" then pick that template, I get
the message "Could not open macro storage." All the other
templates seem to work OK...just not that one. I tried
opening it through Explorer (C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates\Legal Pleadings), but got the same
message.
I am running Word 97 on Win 2000. I can get the template
up if I log on as Administrator...however, this is a
shared computer, and I don't want everyone to be able to
get to everything. I would like this template to work
for all users. Is this a permissions problem, or what?
