Repost, .dot file Auto run when Word already running

Have posted this before, but didn't find any answer that helped.
How do I make it that a .dot file runs code on startup (so when the .dot
file gets loaded)
when Word is already running, for example in Outlook?
If Word is not running yet then there is no problem as I can use AutoExec.
Thanks for any advice.
