repost - false unread message count

Exchange Server 2003
Outlook 2003

I have a user with an inbox that has 2 unread messages indicated next to the
inbox but no messages in the inbox.

This is not due to a particular "view" of the folder.

Have had this problem in the past with Exchange 2000/outlook 2000 and fixed
it but I don't
remember what the fix was.

Help?
