We have found a bug. At least - we think we have :)

When we insert a jpeg image in a document and then flip the image and
then save it, close it, quit, restart powerpoint and reopen the file,
the image is not flipped anymore.
Flipping works ok with clipart.

Can anyone other confirm this on their installations of PowerPoint 2004?

I tried a horizontal flip on a JPEG image, and observed the same behavior.

I agree with Bev. You have indeed found a bug. I just sent a note to
the PowerPoint folks to let them know about it.
