I'm not sure if there's a better place to report this... so here
goes.
With Outlook 2007 closed, delete NormalEmail.dotm. Then open Outlook
and close it so that it will create a new NormalEmail.dotm.
With Outlook closed, open the new NormalEmail.dotm to edit it. Define
a new multi-level list. Assign level 1 to style Heading 1 and click
Ok and close.
Open Outlook, open a new message, click in the text box and click a
few styles (just so you've got a few changes). Go to the Style Set
menu and click Reset Document Quick Styles. That's where it has
crashed on me. Does it crash for you?
<background>
I've been trying for some time to create an email template that
defaults to the styles I like (which included a multi-level Header
list). It has never worked. This seems closely related. Perhaps the
resolution of this will aid in the resolution of my real issue.
Thanks,
Myron
