Request an advice for best practice in multiuser enviroment

Hi, There,

I has a sales and stock system designed, i need an advice on how to update
the order id
if there several clerk key the order at the same time.

Currently i set this to autonumbet in order header and number in order
detail.

The under lying form for the order entry form itself is the order header
table whuch has header as main form and sub form (Order detail as the
controlsource).

So what are the best practice for design an order entry screen in the
multi-user environment ? Please advice and help.
