"Requires macro support" attempting a mail merge from Outlook

trying to set up a mail merge from Outlook I received the following message.

I reviewed and tried to do the solution per the inset instructions (attached Word file) but I can't make this work. Any ideas?

This began after a recent clean install to my system.
