Reserve error (-3004) when compacting in Access 97

My database has reached maximum limit and in trying to compact it, I come
accross the above error, then when I click, it just kicks out.

Here is what that error means:

JET_errQueryInvalidFlag -3004 Invalid value in Flag field

I'm not sure but I think you need to Repair your database. I would suggest
trying JetComp - available here:

Once I figured out the jet engine version, this worked better than the
compact utility did the last time it was actually working!
