reset auto name check

J

John

When you type in the name in the "To:" box, Outlook will
automatically check the name and address: very nice!!!

If you send an email to a individual that is not in your
contact folder you type in the full address, and Outlook
will remember this for next time. How can I reset
that "memory" bit?

If addresses change and some are incorrect it will keep it
and will even suggest it next time. Its removal would
greatly appreciated.

Any advice/tips/recommendation?

Thanks you,
John D.

John,

You can delete one entry at a time by pressing the down arrow, then select
the unwanted entry and delete it. However, if you want a utility to better
manage this info. That file can be opened using an editor called Owtlook
found at www.dcs-imaging.com/products.htm It will allow you to open, sort,
delete, or change any of the autocomplete entries. It will also allow you
to export them to a text file for import into a contact folder if you wish.
