Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I reset Microsoft Project Gallery?

You'll have to be far more explicit as to what you mean by "reset" & why you
think it may be necessary to do so. If you're having some sort of problem
with the Project Gallery it will have to be addressed specifically -- there
is no 'Reset Button' -- but you need to describe what that problem is.

Be sure to include your exact update level specs for both Office & OS X.

I put several templates into a folder that I labeled as "My Templates" and put it into the Template folder, and then I removed it. After that, an invisible folder called "My Templates" remained with three files in it, which were invisible. Two out of the three files were templates that I had previously put it in. The third file is labeled as "Normal Template".

As far as reset goes, well I would just like Project Gallery to be as it was.

There is a "Restore Default" button. That should have reset it but it didn't.

The Restore Defaults button pertains to only the default Settings of the
Project Gallery which are on that page of the dialog. It has no bearing on
any of the other tabs in the dialog or their content.

There is a 'My Templates' folder which is automatically created by Office,
so even if you delete it a new one will be created the next time you access
the Project Gallery from any of the Office apps. However, it's located in a
folder called User Templates, not "Templates", and is found in:

User/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office

The only thing I can safely suggest is that you Quit all Office apps, empty
the Trash & restart your Mac. If this 'mystery folder' continues to appear
please provide explicit details about exactly where you put what. Accurate &
complete info is absolutely necessary ‹ it's impossible to offer responsible
guidance if you don't provide that.

Additionally, there are 2 File Locations [Local Templates & Workgroup
Templates] on the Project Gallery's Settings page. Include the exact wording
for each of them in your reply. Also, you still have not indicated your
update level specs for Office & OS X previously requested.

I tried your string (HD/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/Templates and I don't see the Office folder inside of the Microsoft folder.
Okay, so the folder My Templates will be there by default even though I labeled the folder "My Templates". That's a coincidence. So, the only problem is the files within the folder, not the folder.

I meant to mention earlier that Office and the Leopard are completely updated.

Also, it turns out that the third file labeled "Normal Template was a file that I previously put inside of the "My Templates" folder along with the other two. I forgot.
