Reset of animation..I don't want it

I have put together a show with three slides that auto adavance in 5 sec. I
then loop the show until esc. But when it goes back to the first slide,
buttons that I have "pushed" are reset. I would like them to stay activated.
Is there a way to do this. I looked at custom shows and that didn't seam to
answer my question.

In PPT version 4 this is not possible. Is there a chance you are using
something else? <g>

I have shapes that when triggered change from one color to the next. (red to
green). I have a second trigger cue that changes them back (Green to red).
I have two slides that contain info and these shapes to highlight who is in
(Red or Green). Unfortunetll, when the show loops to the beginning,
theshapes are at their original color, not what they were left at.
