resetting an hp2215 pocket pc without losing stored information

problem: pocket pc was operating and synchronizing with outlook 2002. lost
battery power out of town. disconnected cradle from home pc and reconnected
cradle to power supply(no pc connection) away from home in attempt to
re-charge. pocket pc started to initialize (wiped out stored name,
partnership info?). upon returning home and reconnecting the cradle to home
pc, hp support had me to re-name the pocket pc and create a new partnerhip on
the home pc, but wouldn't help on synchronizing. how do i synchronize the
pocket pc to get all old info from outlook 2002 that is on my home computer?

1. Back up your PST file by copying it somewhere else for safekeeping, with
Outlook closed
2. Post in microsoft.public.pocketpc for help with this...
