I have a linked table that has a field required set to
yes. I would like to change the required property on the
fly to allow for blank or null input. Access will not
allow me to change the Required Property in a linked
table. How can I do this without changing the property in
the table?

Thanks for any assistnace

Thanks for your response. Yep, it does not make sense.
But, I have a client that wants to enter information in a
record and leave this particular field "empty" to be
filled in at time. The record/table in question is used
as a value list in a combo box that populates several
fields in another record and this field may have multiple
values that the client wants to enter at that time.

That said, I have been able to resolve my problem by using
an input mask and default value in the property list for
the control.

Thanks again
