resize many images identically on a series of slides

When taking screen captures and saving them to Powerpoint they come over
larger than the viewable screen. Is there a quick fix to resize these without
having to do them each individually? PPTools has a Place Exactly feature
that sounds like it would work but I'm not sure if this is Microsoft
recommended. Using both Office 97 and Office 2000

Click Edit Select all. Holding down the shift key, click
on the items you do NOT want to resize (this step
unselects them). Now that all of your screen grabs are
selected you can resize them all at once.
