Resize the Styles Pallet Window?

I use character and paragraph styles religiously. Some of my documents have complex sets of styles, but the window only lets me view a handful at a time. Is there a way to resize or expand the window so I can view more of my styles at one time?

Hi,

you cannot change the size of the styles palette. However, you can create a
custom toolbar on which you can put all your styles, thus creating a
personalised styles toolbar. If this sounds interesting to you and you need
help with the setup, post back!

And if you really are a tech writer as your address says, you'd be much
better off using, most of the time, suffixes on your style names so you can
invoke the styles by typing Command-Shift-s followed by the suffix, such as
"1" for Heading 1.

More information is on page 96 and elsewhere (search for "suffux") in some
notes on the way I use Word for the Mac, titled "Bend Word to Your Will",
which are available as a free download from the Word MVPs' website
(http://word.mvps.org/Mac/Bend/BendWordToYourWill.html).

[Note: "Bend Word to your will" is designed to be used electronically and
most subjects are self-contained dictionary-style entries. If you decide to
read more widely than the item I've referred to, it's important to read the
front end of the document -- especially pages 3 and 5 -- so you can select
some Word settings that will allow you to use the document effectively.]

Additionally, the Styles List Box on the Formatting Toolbar provides for
more Styles than the list on the Formatting Palette.
