Resized Excel 2007 object print wrong size in Word 2007

I've inserted an Excel 2007 chart object into a Word 2007 file and resized
(41%) to fit the space.

In print payout and print preview mode the object looks fine but when
printed object is about 20% size. Have tried producing pdf of page and pie
chart is 100% and drops off edge of object boundary whislt text is tiny.

Another similar object is on same page and both original chart size and
object layout settings seem identical.

Have also tried inserting object into single cell table as suggested on
different forum but doesn;t make any difference.

This is driving me nuts so any assistance will allay psychiatrist bills.
