Resizing an excel chart

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have a chart that i transferred to a separate page. I can make the blue borders appear. I want to make the chart larger. Resizing by dragging any of its corner or side handles does not work. The blue border disappears into the window. What is the trick to resize?

If on a Chart Sheet the chart is already as large as it can be based on the
paper size & margin settings. Chart sheets are designed to print as separate
pages when you print the file. IOW, you can't make a Chart Sheet's contents
extend beyond a single page... Nor can the sheet have any content beyond the
edge as displayed - it isn't like a *work*sheet.
