Resizing Cross-Functional Flowchart Bands

S

Scott

When I attempt to resize a band in a cross-functional flowchart, it snaps
back to its original size. What setting do I need to change so I can resize
the band?

You have to grab the frame above, and resize that. All of the contained
bands will take on the size of the frame.

I'm not sure what you mean by grabbing the frame above. Can you explain
that more?

Thanks,

I got this from Microsoft for Visio 2003 and it works!

Click the label of a functional band (Functional Band shape: Represents a
functional unit, such as a department, in which process steps occur. You use
either horizontal or vertical functional band shapes depending on the
orientation you want for your diagram.) to select it.
Drag a side selection handle on a horizontal chart label, or the top or
bottom selection handle on a vertical chart label, until the band is the
width you want.

Hope this Helps
