Resizing font to fill textbox

S

Silvester

While I know PP will autosize a textbox to the amount of text entered....

Is it possible to reduce/enlarge the font size automatically to fill a
preset textbox size (full screen) ? If so, how ?

Thanks for any advice.

Try this ...

1. Create a text box with the desired text in it.
2. Delete the box by 'cutting' it, that is either use the Edit/Cut or Control-X.
3. Use Edit/Paste Special to restore the text box as a Picture.

Now when you resize the box, the font size will resize to match the box. The text cannot be altered in this form, but you can use 'Ungroup' to return the text box to an editable form, though this isn't always satisfactory as non-alpha characters cause the box to be restored as several pieces. So, you may have to start over, if you find you need to edit the text.
