resizing swf files

Here is how I import flash files:

First I import both the HTML and SWF files for the
appropriate movie.

I then open the HTML page for that movie, copy the HTML
and paste it to the page where I want the movies to show.
In order to place the movie exactly where I want it, I
use absolute positioning. This is where I am having
problems.

The movie previews crystal clear until I click absolute
positioning. Now the images in the movie are all
distorted and furry. I have used this same process before
and had no troubles. Am I missing something here?
